Since Nella is investing our own money (as opposed to a pool of other people’s capital like a traditional Private Equity firm), we have ultimate flexibility regarding investment structures (both debt and equity) as well as investment time horizon. As we do not have to return capital to outside investors within a pre-defined timeframe, we can be patient, long-term partners.
